Students and guardians are requested to actively cooperate in upholding the following rules and regulations
Attendance and Academic Commitment
Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in lectures, practicals, and tutorials each academic term, as prescribed by University norms.
Absence from academic activities must be approved in advance through written permission from the Principal.
Unsatisfactory attendance, poor academic performance, or incomplete submission of assignments/tutorials may result in loss of terms.
Irregular attendance during the first term may disqualify students from continuing in the second term.
Prolonged absences due to illness must be supported by a medical certificate and immediate written communication to the college.
Student Conduct and Behavior
Students must dress appropriately and maintain clean, decent, and respectful attire on campus. Parents/guardians are requested to ensure compliance.
Students must avoid behavior that disrupts teaching, learning, or the academic atmosphere. Loitering is strictly prohibited.
Employed students must declare their employment status at admission and must obtain permission before taking up jobs during the academic year. Employment will not exempt students from attendance or examination requirements.
Students must respect college property. Damaging college infrastructure will attract disciplinary action and financial penalties.
Activities and Permissions
Formation of groups, societies, or hosting events requires prior approval from the Principal.
No notices, posters, or circulars may be displayed without permission.
Fund collection for any cause is strictly prohibited without authorization.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on college premises.
Students are not permitted to bring outsiders to college events without official invitation or approval.
Examination Discipline
Malpractice during College/Board/University examinations will invite severe penalties as per the University of Mumbai guidelines.
Mobile Phone Usage
Mobile phones are banned during lectures, practicals, library hours, and examinations. Violators will face disciplinary action.
Authority and Disciplinary Action
The Principal reserves full authority to suspend, expel, or take appropriate action against any student whose conduct adversely affects the college environment.
Matters not specifically addressed here are subject to the Principal’s interpretation and final decision.
Disciplinary Measures
Violations of discipline may lead to:
Official warnings
Parental notification
Imposition of fines
Withholding of deposits or scholarships
Suspension from academic or extracurricular activities
Cancellation of terms or denial of re-admission
Expulsion from the college
Rustication under University rules Students accused of indiscipline will be given an opportunity to be heard before final disciplinary action is taken.
Guidelines for Parents and Guardians
Maintain regular communication with the college authorities.
Respond promptly to official correspondence; failure to reply after two notices may result in unilateral disciplinary action by the Principal.
Monitor the academic performance and attendance of your ward consistently.
Identity Card Policy
Students must carry their valid Identity Card every day and produce it on request.
The Identity Card must be worn/displayed as per college norms.
Loss of the Identity Card must be immediately reported:
First duplicate card fine: ₹250
Second duplicate card fine: ₹500
Identity Cards are mandatory for participation in examinations, academic activities, and college events.
Action Against Unfair Practices in Examinations
Strict action will be taken against students indulging in unfair practices during any examination, based on the University of Mumbai regulations and applicable authorities’ directives.
Special Instructions
Maintain cleanliness in classrooms and across the college campus.
Avoid causing damage to any college property or infrastructure.
Conserve water and electricity; use resources responsibly.
