Admission Information

Admissions to the First-Year Degree Programs across all courses at Tilaknagar College of Commerce, Dombivli, will commence following the declaration of the HSC examination results, as per the schedule prescribed by the University of Mumbai.   • Confirmation of Admission:

Students are required to confirm their admission by paying the applicable fees within the stipulated period as mentioned in the admission notice. Failure to complete the fee payment within the prescribed timeline will result in automatic cancellation of the admission.

  • Fee Receipt Preservation:

 Students must retain their fee receipt carefully, as it will be essential for claiming refunds related to deposits, Freeships, or Scholarships.

  • Fee Concessions for Reserved Category Students:

 Students belonging to reserved categories (as defined by the Government of Maharashtra) are eligible for fee concessions.To avail of these concessions, it is mandatory to complete and submit the required forms within the specified time frame. Failure to do so will result in the student being liable to pay the full course fee.

  • Special Admission Categories:

 Admissions for students belonging to reserved categories, wards of ex-servicemen, and differently-abled (physically handicapped) students will be conducted strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations laid down by the Government of Maharashtra.

  • Provisional Admissions:

 All admissions granted will initially be on a provisional basis and are subject to verification and final approval by the appropriate authorities.

  • Annual Admission Requirement:

 Admission to First-Year classes is valid only for the current academic year. Students must seek fresh admission for each subsequent year of study by following the prevailing procedures.

  • Fee Structure Revisions:

 The fee structure is subject to revision by the University of Mumbai. Students will be required to pay any additional amount arising from such revisions, as and when notified by the College.

  • Right to Cancel Admission:

The Principal reserves the right to cancel a student’s admission on any of the following grounds:Unsatisfactory attendance in lectures, practicals, or tutorials, and/or poor academic performance in examinations.Indulgence in misconduct or disciplinary violations.Any other reason deemed sufficient by the competent authorities, review committee, and the Principal.
